BIRD REQUIEM

albinobone Go to your favourite bookstore. Peruse books about abandoned places. It's fascinating and, let's face it, a bit scary. Why did the people leave? And why didn't they take their stuff? The reasons are likely prosaic, but when faced with the blunt fact of images you steep in the sadness and mystery of unexplained decay. It makes you feel vulnerable, as though those buildings were you, forgotten and neglected. This music is that, like William Basinski playing the sound of your own abandoned bones. Favorite track: BONDAI.
